Great to see our friends from Merimbula make the trip up the hill to Club Bombala today! The Merimbula bowlers took on Bombala in a fantastic afternoon of Pennant bowls that showcased the best of friendly competition and community spirit.

It was a wonderful display of camaraderie and good sportsmanship throughout the match. The greens were in excellent condition and both teams brought their best game, making for an exciting afternoon of bowls. The friendly rivalry between our clubs always creates a great atmosphere, and today was no exception.

Community and Competition

Thanks to the Merimbula team for travelling up to share a great day on the greens with us. We always enjoy hosting visiting teams and the opportunity to catch up with fellow bowlers from across the region. These matches are about more than just the competition – they’re about building connections and celebrating our shared love of the sport.

The afternoon highlighted what makes pennant bowls so special in our community. The combination of skilled play, mutual respect between teams, and the social aspect of the game creates memorable experiences for everyone involved. Both teams demonstrated excellent sportsmanship throughout the match.
